I am the first person to tell you that I have got it made!
I truly love what I do for a living. Many of my friends will moan and say they wish they could win the lottery because then they could stop working.
For me, I smile and say, " Are you kidding? I'd still be doing what I do regardless of money."
As corny as that may sound, it is the truth. Whether it is Massage Therapy or Manual Lymph Drainage, I am blessed beyond belief that I have been given the opportunity to help people. After
a long day at the Myers Center, I feel charged, not exhausted. I feel humbled by the trust and honesty that the amazing people that come to my office share with me.
I have learned so much about the human spirit, about strength and character, about the indominatable will to smile and laugh despite the circumstances from the men and women I have worked with over the last 15years.
As I walk down my long hallway at the end of the day and one by one turn out the lights in my office, I breath deep and say "Thank you."
I am reminded of one of my favorite sayings...
The secret of life is to discover your passion.
The meaning of life is to give it away.
To all of the men and women who have made it possible for me to have a career that I absolutley love, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Giving to you eachday is what my life is all about.

Drinking water everyday. So simple, easy and free! Yet so many of us walk around chronically dehydrated. I give all my clients the "water talk" and inevitably someone will say back to me, " But I'm not thristy."
Sometimes the body stops sending the thirst signals, or at least the ones that are most obvious to us, i.e. dry mouth.
But if we are more observant, we'll notice a decrease in urine output or a dark color urine. We may also wonder why we have headaches and muscle cramps? Or you could be like many people and feel that mid afternoon fatigue.
Coffee is usually the first thought to the ones struggling to keep thier eyes open around 3:00pm but WATER is what they should go for first!
How much should a person drink in a day? Here is an average to help you gauge your intake:
- 100 lbs = 50 ounces
- 150lbs = 65 ounces
- 200 lbs = 70 ounces
Remember, that is just an average. Excercise, fever, vomitting are just a few reasons to increase the suggested average per day.
Try it, what do you have to loose? Give yourself a good 2 weeks of everyday hydration and see for yourself how much better you will feel!
Again, how can you beat a free, easy solution to so many ailments. I would love to hear some results from you! Cheers!
